What it Means to Be a School for Girls

For parents of rising 6th-11th grade girls

As educators of girls, we understand that there is no difference in what boys and girls can learn, but there are many differences in how they learn.

For the past 115 years, recognizing how to empower girls to reach their full potential has been our focus at GPS. Our teachers use a wide variety of approaches in the classroom that focus on interdisciplinary connections, building relationships, combating perfectionism, instilling a growth mindset, and building confidence—what girls need to thrive. To learn more about these essential elements, along with many others, and what truly makes us a school for girls, please join us for this session with Head of Upper School Jenise Gordon and Associate Head of School and Head of Middle School Lynne Macziewski.

Registration for this event is closed. Please reach out to the Admission Office by email at Admission@GPS.edu or by phone at 423.634.7644 if you would like to attend.
