We are thrilled to extend a warm invitation to you to join us for one of the most anticipated events of the year – GPS's Annual May Day Celebration! As a newly accepted member of our community, we are excited for you to experience this cherished tradition firsthand.
What is May Day? May Day is an iconic event that brings together the best of GPS tradition, spirit, and values. Set amidst the beauty of flowers, dresses, and the winding of maypoles, the celebration takes place on the picturesque Smith Courtyard. It’s a day where family, friends, and the entire school community gather to honor the senior class, especially the May Queen and her Court, who are recognized for their outstanding character, integrity, and contribution to the life of the school.
Event Details:
Check-In: Noon–12:15 p.m.
Pageant: 1 PM–2 p.m.
Location: GPS Smith Courtyard
Parking: Chattanooga Theatre Centre, 400 River Street (Shuttle service will be provided.)
